Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Luke
Description
Luke is a beautiful red American Staffordshire Terrier with just a little white on his chest and a very loving personality. He is so passive that when he was recently attacked at a dog park, he wouldnt fight back. His foster mom and others had to pry the other dogs jaws off of him to get him loose because he wasnt defending himself. He will need someone who understands him, who has time and room for him to run. He does great around children of any age, even sitting nicely while waiting for a little 6 yr old girl at the park to throw a stick for him to retrieve from the creek. He is used to other dogs and does fine, and he is okay with cats in the house. He has been an inside/outside dog so he is house trained, was trained to sleep in his kennel, loves car rides and is well mannered and knows all his basic commands. Luke can be a bit hyper on walks and tends to pull a little on the leash but quickly stops when hes corrected. Hes a total love bug and getting a little spoiled from sleeping in bed with his foster mom. He would be a great companion for someone very active to hike with, camp with and do the daily walks with, which he has the leash manners for. All in all, he is a great dog waiting for a great owner to come along and take him home. Are you that great owner? Come and meet him and find out. He is 5 years old and weighs 80#.
