Meet Vince! Vince is a 1.5 year old pom/chi mix. He's white with tan spots and oh so cucte! He's long and lean. His coat is short and shiny. Vince is full grown at only 14 pounds. Vince is a sweet and loving boy, but can also be a nervous nelly. Vince is nearly housebroken and is perfecting this in his foster home. Vince does very well with the other small dogs in his foser home. He is very playful with some and indifferent to others. He wants to play with the cats in his foster home. Vince does well meeting new dogs. At the dog park, Vince was nervous and barked a lot. At the PetSmart adoption events, Vince is very social as long as he has his foster mom next to him! He doesn't like it when she walks away! When new people come to the house, Vince joins the other dogs and barks, but is not going to bite. Vince is crate trained and loves his crate. He is crated when his foster mom is away. He does bark some when she leaves the house and when she comes home. Vince loves walks, but is sometimes nervous about the things he sees and barks. He pulls some on he leash. Vince is a lucky boy and sleeps in the bed with his foster mom - under the covers! Vince has done well with children at PetSmart adoption events, but should go to a fairly quiet home. Vince barks when the door bell rings or there's a knock at the door or when he hears or sees something outside. He doesn't just bark for attention. Vince came to us after he was hit by a car and his family could not or did not want to pay for his health care. We got him all fixed up, but he might get arthritis earlier in life or worse than had this not happened to him. Vince is not the guy for very long walks, daily 30 minute walks would be plenty. The ideal home for Vince would be quiet, have another dog, no cats and no stairs. Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have adoption events at the Beaverton PetSmart every other Saturday where you can meet many of our dogs at once. Click Here for our Calendar of Events. How long have you lived there? Do you have a fully, securely fenced yard? (type/height) Do you own or rent your home? What changes in your life are likely in the next 10+ years (or life span of the dog) and how will the changes affect the dog?
