Pit Bull Terrier - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Simba
Description
Simba came to us from the humane society. He had been picked up by animal control, because his owner was not caring for him. He had been abused, and was very thin. Simba also had no training at all! This was the number one thing that was hindering his adoption. After being in the shelter for a few months, he was sentenced to death row. We were asked to take him, and being the people we are we quickly agreed, and brought home a 70 lb locomotive! Simba was strong, and he knew it! He had never had any formal leash training, or any other form of training to speak of. So, at a year old he went through a total revamp with us. Simba has been with us for a year now, and you would not recognize him today from the dog he was last year. Simba is now a gentle giant! He LOVES kids, and people, and does amazing with other dogs. He is good with his kitty pack members, but likes to chase them when they start to tease. Simba would make an incredible family dog or therapy dog. He is a big dog, and will need an owner who loves big lap dogs. Simba really needs a home! We love him, but he needs a family all his own now. Older large male pit bulls are often difficult to place, Simba has sat and watched all his girl friends get adopted, and still has yet to find his forever family!! Now come on Big boys need love too! Can you give Simba some love??? Simba is now 2yrs old and weighs 75lbs
