Description
Kissy is a beautiful 1 year old red American pit bull terrier. She has had a ruff life, and would really love a new family that can spoil her! Kissy has had to be rescued not once, but twice now from very terrible situations. Her first rescue came when she was only 4 months old! The man that owned her was trying to sell her, so, he put her in a wire crate on the side of the road in the rain with a for sale sign on her. A lady stopped, and paid him $40 to rescue her... Kissy was terribly skinny, and was cold, wet, and scarred. The women decided to keep her, and things were looking up! Unfortunately, Kissy's new found life took a turn for the worst when she was only 10 months old... Her very rescuer became her neglector! Kissy's new owner could not afford to feed Kissy, and the other two dogs she had, so, they often went without. Also due to financial troubles Kissy and the male dog at the house were never altered.... So, at 8 months old Kissy became pregnant. She ended up having 15 puppies! 3 of which were lost due to the owners inexperience with pups, and improper feeding of Kissy. When we found out about her we could not stand back, and watch! So, Kissy, and all 12 of her remaining 2 week old puppies were surrendered to us! All of Kissy's pups have found loving homes, and now its Kissy's turn! She has really flourished in her foster home, and is now getting a proper diet! Kissy really is a very sweet mellow girl, and is very obedient. She is fully house broken, and kennel trained. Kissy loves attention, and knows all her basic commands. She is fantastic with other dogs! Kissy is amazing with kids, and loves people! She is also house broken, and kennel trained! She really is a sweet girl, and would love a family all her own. Do you have a place for a girl like this in your home?
