Ferret - Small - Adult - Female - Small Furry - Sheba and Amber
Description
Sheba and Amber arrived at CFN about a week apart and were adopted into a new home together soon after. That was in July of 2004. Now their owner is moving to Washington D.C. where she cannot take ferrets, so the girls are looking to find a new home again. They are about 2-2.5 years old now. The following was written about Sheba when she first arrived: "Sheba was found as a stray. Sheba is a little ball of energy. She is constantly alert to what is happening around her and MUST be a part of it. She is very young and very pudgy. She is a bit free with putting her mouth on skin and has made the volunteers yelp and jump by going after their feet, so she may be a handful for a first time owner. Sheba gets along great with other ferrets. She doesn't have any tattoos and looks like she is probably from a local breeder. " The following is written by the foster parent taking care of the pair: "Both Sheba and Amber are working hard on not biting people. LOL I feel they were neglected, their stuff was dirty and full of feces. I am working hard with them and they are responding well. They are a blast to watch and they are very active, fearless also-- imperative that they go into a home ferret proofed. They are very curious and easily could get into trouble."
